Frameworks & metrics
Guidelines and indicators help organisations understand relevant sustainability topics, set measurable objectives and structure their evidence.
United Metric Certification Platform
A secure working environment for organisations and assessment teams to organise sustainability evidence, apply controlled frameworks and manage independent review with clarity.
Built by United Metric Association to support measurable progress, responsible practice and credible sustainability decisions.
About United Metric
United Metric Association is an Austrian non-profit organisation with an international focus on sustainability and ESG transformation. It supports organisations across industry, services, public administration and civil society with frameworks, indicators and practical tools.
Its work brings environmental, social and economic considerations into decision-making, helping organisations establish a clear baseline, identify priorities and follow progress over time.
What United Metric Does
United Metric develops sector-aware guidance and metrics, supports evidence-based assessment and provides professional learning pathways for sustainability practice.
Guidelines and indicators help organisations understand relevant sustainability topics, set measurable objectives and structure their evidence.
Evidence-based review helps establish a documented current position, identify strengths and define priority areas for improvement.
SPD provides a framework for documenting, assessing and registering product sustainability information across value chains.
Training programmes support sustainability, ESG, lifecycle thinking, product assessment and responsible value-chain practice.
The UMCP Platform
UMCP brings project scope, evidence, authorised criteria, review packages and decisions into one traceable workspace. It is designed to make collaboration easier without weakening the separation between preparation, independent assessment and formal decision-making.

Programmes & Pathways
An evidence-based review route for organisational ESG practices, with a professional report on current position, strengths and priority improvements.
A professional framework for documenting, assessing and registering product sustainability information.
Controlled digital workspaces for project evidence, assessment preparation and review coordination.
Governance & Trust
Access is role-based. Evidence preparation, independent review, platform administration and certification decisions are deliberately separated. Every controlled action can be recorded against the relevant project, person and version.
A platform workspace supports the assessment process; it does not by itself create a certification outcome or public claim.
Khatam · Controlled workspace
Khatam project workspace
Sustainable Building · DGNB System
A controlled environment for project scope, evidence, coding and independent assessment throughout the design phase.

Project areas
Open Site, Shared Infrastructure or an individual building to review its registered documents and evidence readiness.
Document viewing is read-only. Criterion requirements remain controlled until the authorised matrix is released.
Select an area
Select Site, Shared Infrastructure or a building to view the controlled document list.
Coding logic
This controlled reference follows Part One of the approved Khatam guideline. It defines how project documents, source documents, DGNB evidence, DGNB reports and assessment submissions are identified, registered, revised, retrieved and linked to the applicable criterion.
B03-TEC1.4-RPT-001-R00Building code – DGNB criterion code – document type – sequence number – revisionB03Building codeThe official controlled-area code from the Building Master Register. Building codes may only be created or changed with client approval.
TEC1.4DGNB criterionThe applicable official DGNB criterion code, taken from the DGNB Criteria Master Register and the project documentation matrix.
RPTDocument typeThe controlled type of record. It is selected only from the approved Document Type Register.
001Sequence numberA three-digit serial assigned consistently for the relevant document type to prevent duplicate identifiers.
R00RevisionR00 is the initial issue. R01, R02 and later numbers record successive controlled revisions.
Project Core Documents are held once for the campus. Shared Technical Documents cover common systems. Building-Specific Documents are controlled in the dossier of each building.

Source information is registered once and referenced wherever needed; it is not duplicated for several criteria or buildings.

A unique ID remains the same even where one record supports several criteria. The record is referenced, not recoded.
A revised record receives the next revision; the superseded issue is retained and the latest approved issue becomes the valid project version.
Mandatory control rules
Portal note: the current `KHT-...` labels in the local pilot are provisional intake labels. The formal controlled identifier is the five-part ID shown above and should be applied when criterion-level coding is confirmed.
Project context
Planned as an integrated academic, research and technology campus in Phase 4 of Pardis Technology Park, east of Tehran, Iran. The development brings teaching, research, innovation and student-support functions into one coordinated environment.
Active project
One controlled project workspace, established for evidence intake, scope management and staged assessment preparation.
Project timeline
Weekly control follows evidence readiness, not a fixed order of client-document receipt. Each criterion package may move forward as soon as its controlled evidence is ready.

Control alert
Evidence requests can be issued only after the controlled catalogue and rule version are released.
Control schedule
Comparison of planned weekly criterion streams with evidence actually registered in the selected scope. This is a delivery-control indicator, not a DGNB score or an automatic judgment on the client.
Professional registered course

Delivered 19–23 September 2026 as a five-day specialist programme. The learning stream supports the project’s evidence-readiness work; it is not an assessment result or a certification outcome.

Controlled records
Controlled requirements
The responsibility structure is approved. Client inputs, sustainability deliverables, accountable owners and due dates will now be transcribed into the controlled requirement register.
Control boundary: registering a document does not complete a criterion. Evidence requests and progress percentages activate only after the detailed requirement list, named owners and acceptance rules are approved.

Audit trail
Current record-control states are shown for every registered document. Open a row to review the relevant controlled area.
External assessment
Independent review is sequenced alongside evidence readiness so findings can inform the design-stage process without waiting for the full campus package.
26 April 2026 · Week 0
Completed for B04 · Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment as the pilot building. The controlled report is available in Reports.
Weeks 4–16 · In progress
Criterion packages may be issued to external assessors as they become evidence-ready. Separate interim findings and reports are recorded progressively.
Week 19
Final consolidated assessment follows documentation closure, review of outstanding findings and completion of the design-stage evidence package.
Reports
Released records are available for controlled viewing. The preliminary assessment is the current published external-assessment record.
